well i have joined the social network called flixster. it is a fun site that lets you rate movies, take quizzes and other movie related stuff.

and before i had ever heard of web 2.o or started working at the library i regularly posted on message boards at the sites listed below for an actor that i was crushing on for about 3 years. i visited other message boards while in these sites. it reminds a little of the comments i post on other folks' blogs.

and on my cellphone i sometimes use the web. since i don't have an expensive phone, i can only do basic things, but it is still Internet access. plus i can send pix and txt msgs to email addresses which i think is so very cool!
the techie things i really would like to learn are not quite possible due to finances. i don't have high speed Internet at home. i don't have a digital camera or a mp3 player or DVD recorder or web cam. these are the things i would need in order to download music, vids, and pics and then play with them and make cool albums and other cool things like make slide shows and send video e-cards and make very cool family newsletters and greeting cards and i am sure there is more that i have seen others do and i want to do but don't have the equipment to do this yet. i know some of the things i could do at the library if i had the equipment, but honestly organising photos and videos takes time and i'd rather do it in the comfy of my home where i can sit until my eyes get blurry and i must go to bed.
that is all about techie stuff for now. ttfn
